How to use it

Fill in the child

First name, how the comment should refer to the child (she, he or they), and the term average.

Choose the writer and tick the details

Pick class teacher or principal. For a class teacher you can add strengths (punctual, neat, respectful…) and areas to improve.

Edit and copy

The comment appears in a box you can edit. Press “Write another version” for different wording, then copy it into the report card.

Tips for good report card comments

Start with something true and positive, then name one thing to work on.
Be specific and kind. “Needs to read more at home” helps a parent act. “Weak” does not.
Change at least one detail for each child so the comment sounds like you know them.
Keep it short: two or three sentences fit most report cards.
